SSO (SAML 2.0 / OIDC), SCIM provisioning, role-based access control, and the audit log come standard at $1 per device: features many vendors reserve for enterprise tiers or price as add-ons. On DeviceView they're in every tier, including the free Pilot.
Actionable devices
You pay for devices we can act on."Actionable Device" means a device registered or enrolled with the Services that performs at least one successful check-in (i.e., connects to or authenticates with the Services) during any portion of the applicable billing cycle. Devices not meeting this requirement in a given cycle are excluded from fees for that cycle, regardless of registration status.
A device counts toward a month's bill only if it checks in during that month, meaning it connects to or authenticates with DeviceView at least once in the billing cycle. Enrolled devices that stay silent for a full cycle are excluded from that cycle's fees, whatever their registration status. Spare units on the shelf, seasonal kiosks, hardware out for repair: enrolled, ready, and unbilled until they come back.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as an actionable device?
A device that checks in at least once during the billing cycle: it connects to or authenticates with DeviceView. If it doesn't, it's excluded from that cycle's fees, even if it stays enrolled.
What happens at the Pilot limit?
Pilot covers 5 devices, and your console shows usage (3/5). Enrolling a 6th prompts the move to Standard: $20/month covers your first 20.
When am I billed?
Monthly. Your per-device count for a cycle is based on devices that checked in during that cycle. Cancel anytime.
Do dormant devices cost anything?
No. A device with no check-in during a cycle is excluded from that cycle's fees, regardless of registration status.
Is SSO extra?
No. SSO (SAML 2.0 / OIDC), SCIM provisioning, RBAC, and the audit log are included in every tier, including the free Pilot.
How does the 15-day satisfaction guarantee work?
Not satisfied? Cancel your subscription and request a full refund within 15 days of your subscription start date.
Can I mix Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS?
Yes. One console, one price, every platform.
Compliance status?
Architected to SOC 2 controls; Type II certification in progress. DeviceNexus, the company behind DeviceView, holds ISO 27001 certification.
